Neural Networks and Social Media Analytics

The British Chamber of Commerce Guangdong held a seminar titled “Neural Networks and Social Media Analytics” on 17^th April. It was our honour to invite Dr. Shane Wang from our member-company Ivey Business School to share a non-proprietary technique on digital data analysis. BritCham were happy to welcome 16 representatives in attendance from different fields including real estate, finance and investment, professional services, hospitality, construction and technology.

Dr. Shane Wang provided the audience with some concepts of understanding Neural Networks through text mining and video mining perspectives. To help our audience deeply understand the implementation of such methods, Dr. Wang applied many examples, by using sample data and real case studies. His presentation helped our audience understand how to handle and sort digital data in their social media platforms and how to make use of such data in their strategic management.
