May 25: Update and Trend of Foreigners

Overview

Since China plays a very important role in the world in recent years, more and more foreigners are willing to apply to work in China. According to the laws and regulation of People’s Republic of China, foreigners are required to apply for work visa to work in China. From the second half of 2017, new policies of work authorisation have been issued. In mid-December of 2017, Guangzhou Municipal Public Security Bureau announced 18 new policies to support the construction of The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, among them 5 preferential visa policies for foreigner workers. 

近年来随着中国在世界经济大舞台的地位日益重要，越来越多的外国人来到中国谋求一份职业, 根据中华人民共和国法律规定，外国人在中国就业必须办理工作签证。2017年下半年开始，国家颁布了新的外国人来华工作签证政策，全面了解解读新政策对雇主和外籍雇员都是极其重要的。2017年12月中旬，广东省公安厅公布了18项支持粤港澳大湾区建设的新举措。其中，涉及外国人签证的五项优惠政策值得关注。

We are delighted to invite the Guangzhou Municipal Public Security Bureau and Fragomen to present visa policy of The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, updates and trend of foreigner work authorization policies as well as how they impact employer and foreign employees. They will also be answering questions on how to deal with visa problems that you might encounter. 

本次讲座广东英国商会将邀请广州市公安局出入境管理支队国际合作办公室和费戈曼中国区合伙人代表为现场来宾讲解粤港澳大湾区签证政策，签证新政和趋势以及新政对雇主和外籍雇员的影响。借此机会来宾们可以就自身签证问题，与多位现场专业人士进行交流。
