6th Women in Business Forum:Taking One Step Ahead 第六杰出商业女性论坛：创造非凡领先一步

The 6th Women in Business Forum was organized by The British Chamber of Commerce Guangdong and supported by the Culture and Education Section of the British Consulate-General (British Council). This year’s event was held on 31st March, 2017 at Marriott Hotel Nanshan, Shenzhen. 

2017年3月31日，由广东英国商会主办，在英国总领事馆文化教育处的支持下，第六届杰出商业女性论坛在深圳中洲万豪酒店圆满落下帷幕。

According to the mode last year, the 2017 Women in Business event was held in the creative and innovative city of Shenzhen. For all over these years, the Women in Business forum has provided a platform for women to exchange and inspire each other, allowing them to find their true character and place in life, as well as to inspire the dreams. More than 250 guests gathered together and a good mix of nationalities and industries were represented. With the help of our MC, Matt Horn MBE and five speakers, we created a relaxed environment full of ideas sharing and experience exchanges. 

沿袭去年的方式，本届杰出商业女性论坛再次选择在深圳举办。深圳，作为一个汇聚无数创新理念的现代都市，多年来主办方广东英国商会通过杰出商业女性论坛这个活动，搭建出了一个女性互相交流平台，启迪各位女性找到属于自己的本真和位置，启发梦想。本届论坛出席人数超过250人，嘉宾包括来自不同国家、不同领域的杰出商业女性、创业人士、企业白领等优秀女性们，来宾们通过此次机会享受到了一场视听盛宴，同时也获得与演讲嘉宾们就本次活动话题的讨论和交流的机会，大家纷纷对此次论坛给与了高度赞许。

For this year’s Women in Business Forum, we invited five women who are all forerunners in different industries, including the artist Wu Chao, British Fashion Ambassador Kelly England Prehn, Black Diamondz Property Concierge’s Founder & Director Monika Tu, Chaihuo Maker Space’s Community Manager Violet Su and the founder and designer of Wuyong, Ma Ke. They shared their perspectives and stories about how they used new technology and overturned existing traditional concepts to combat daily life and social problems and realise their dreams.They also actively interacted with the audience, thus sparking deeper thoughts on the topic through a lively Q&A session. 

在本届杰出商业女性论坛中，我们邀请到五位不同行业的杰出女性，她们分别是艺术家吴超，英国时尚大使Kelly England Prehn，黛晶国际创始人与董事涂燕翎，柴火创客空间社区经理苏海燕，無用创始人与设计师马可。作为将梦想付于实践的第一人，每一位嘉宾都分享她们敢于颠覆传统观念和框架，找到自我的人生使命，从实际生活或社会问题出发，结合现有科技技术并付诸实践的个人故事和经历。此外，她们积极与现场来宾互动，就如何成功创业给予的针对性的建议，现场观众女性们从中受益匪浅。　

The afternoon was a huge success, showcasing these women’s ability to think outside the traditional framework and to prove themselves to have the courage to innovate and be one step ahead. These women are keen to put their ideas into practice and show others their unique maker’s spirit. We hope this event will help inspire individuals with their business ideas by taking the speakers as examples, and encourage them to be brave, follow their hearts and make their dreams come true.

本次论坛活动是一次商界女性的盛会、智慧女性的聚焦，成功展示了她们跳脱传统框架，勇于创新，领先他人一步，热衷实践，向人们展示出一种独特的创客精神。我们希望通过本次论坛，激发来宾们更多的创业灵感和思考。以各位演讲嘉宾作为例子，鼓励来宾们勇敢地追随她们内心的想法、成就她们的梦想。
