Guangzhou Christmas Party 广州圣诞派对
Blessed with cold festive weather in Guangzhou, the British Chamber of Commerce Guangdong hosted our 2020 Guangzhou Christmas Party on Saturday 5th December at the LN Garden Hotel. It was a time to reflect and celebrate the year with our members, friends, partners and the wider community. We welcomed nearly 200 guests from the local and international community - all getting into the wonderful Christmassy vibe, enjoying Christmas Carols, live music, fun games and dancing into the starry night. 伴随着12月初的温度骤降，广东英国商会于12月5日在花园酒店迎来了年度的圣诞派对，与我们的会员朋友以及合作伙伴欢聚一堂共同庆祝这个愉悦的时刻。我们迎接了本地以及国际社区的近200名嘉宾一起欣赏圣诞颂歌、现场音乐、享受趣味游戏，与老朋友把酒言欢，与新朋友劲歌热舞。 Opening Speeches

Our wonderful two MCs on the night were Sam from SK SPORTS and Eman from BritCham Guangdong. After kicking off the proceedings our BritCham Vice Chairman Mark Clayton delivered a short opening speech highlighting BritCham achievements and member engagements during the year. Our diamond sponsor ISA International Education Group also shared a video showcasing ISA’s adoption of top-level international education and their commitment to providing students, parents and teachers from many countries with a multicultural campus environment. ngelic voices and the movement of lively little bodies marked our wonderful performance by our Diamond Sponsor ISA International Education Children’s choir, who performed two classic Christmas and brought the Christmas atmosphere to everyone – together with a fabulous sing along. During the event, we also arranged exciting games. The Happy Monk, our Cocktail Bar Sponsor for the night, offered a chance to learn how to mix the famous Italian Aperol Spritz cocktail. All three contestants received great prizes! BritCham also provided “Who's My Match” game to get all the people involved. The dress code for the night was Red or Gold, with a hint of Christmas. The night saw over 30 attendees competing for the “Best Dressed Competition”. All the attendees dressed in red or gold in a fancy and creative way. After judging, the winners of the three awards took away some amazing prizes including a Return Flight Ticket to Beijing! 我们一同遨游在红色与金色的圣诞海洋中，选出了当晚的最佳着装大奖！超过30位参赛者参加了最佳着装评选赛，前三名都收获了超级大奖，分别包括星级酒店房券、餐券以及广州-北京往返机票。 Musical Christmas Crackers 圣诞音乐拉炮
As the night continued with good food and wine, whisky and ice-cream, we brought on the musical Christmas crackers. Crowds of people joined in on the dance floor, dancing and grooving to the music until it stopped, before going wild grabbing and popping our special Christmas crackers loaded with secret and surprise gifts. 夜幕的降临伴随着不限量的美食、美酒、威士忌和冰淇淋，圣诞拉炮的环节即将开始。许多人加入到舞池中，伴随着音乐翩翩起舞，直到音乐停止，大家疯抢着地上的crackers，里面装满了惊喜的礼物。 The night was a huge success and it was great to see so many BritChamers enjoying Christmas time and making new friends. Everyone enjoyed networking with free-flow wine, cocktails and whisky so much – almost to the point of forgetting to leave. 这是一个愉悦、圣诞氛围浓厚的夜晚，英商的新老朋友欢聚一堂，笑声徜徉在整个大厅内。伴随着美酒与音乐，很多许久还未离开，流连忘返。
