Members’ Fireside

(Shenzhen & Guangzhou)

The British Chamber of Commerce Guangdong successfully organsied Members' Fireside (SZ Session) on 16th September at Ping An Technology Innovation Center and  (GZ Session) on 25th September at Zhong Lun Law Firm.

Each session has around 40 participants from various industries including education, hospitality, legal consultancy, manufacturing, healthcare and more. This is our second Members' Fireside in 2020, we received a lot of registration once we sent out the announcement. During the networking session, members were actively talking and exchanging industry insights with each other.

The Members’ Fireside is a quarterly member-focused event, dedicated to networking and matchmaking through an open-mic opportunity. This event will be open to BritCham GD members only with our new members and renewed members with the BritCham GD community. It’s named a fireside because we want it to be an intimate experiential experience in getting to know each other’s business. 

InterChamber Networking Drinks

(Guangzhou and Shenzhen)

The British Chamber of Commerce Guangdong, together with the Australian, Danish, Benelux, German, French, Italian, Spanish and Swiss Chambers, successfully organised the long-waited InterChamber Networking Drinks on 17th September at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts Guangzhou and on 24th September at Residence G Shenzhen. We were delighted to see that both events with great turnouts. We welcomed around 200 guests in Guangzhou and 170 guests in Shenzhen respectively.

Two nights of catching up with all the folks from our amazing Chambers in Guangdong made for a great gathering. It was great to see so many of our members having fun and making new friends, and the conversations and networking continued long after the event finished!

Handling China Employment and Visa Issues Beyond COVID-19

Last Tuesday 22 September the BritCham Chamber of Commerce (BritCham) Guangdong, Australian Chamber of Commerce (AustCham) South China, and the Guangzhou Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment – in collaboration with the Zhong Lun Law Firm and Valueplus Consulting –  organised a seminar at Zhong Lun’s Shenzhen office on China employment and visa issues throughout and beyond COVID-19.
