InterChamber Networking Drinks GZ and SZInterChamber Networking Drinks Guangzhou and Shenzhen The British Chamber of Commerce Guangdong, together with the Australian, Benelux, German, French, Italian, Spanish and Swiss Chambers, successfully organised the long-waited InterChamber Networking Drinks on 23rd June at China Hotel, Guangzhou and on 30th June at The Langham Hotel, Shenzhen. We were delighted to see that tickets for both events were fully booked. We welcomed around 170 guests in Guangzhou and around 200 guests in Shenzhen respectively.
On this occasion, it was the turn of the British Chamber of Commerce Guangdong and the Australian Chamber South China to co-host this event and to jointly deliver the opening welcome speeches and present prizes.
Ms Chris Chen, Deputy Executive Manager of BritCham Guangdong delivered a welcome speech together with Mr Mike Cai, Chairman of Australian Chamber South China.
Ms Vicky Luo, Shenzhen Office Manager of BritCham Guangdong also delivered a speech together with Jessica Jia, External Relations Manager of Australian Chamber South China.
Finally Mr Mark Clayton, Vice Chairman of BritCham Guangdong gave a welcome speech together with Mr Kenneth Lam, Committee Member of Australian Chamber South China. We also prepared a fun “tennis ball” game for the evening. Some lucky guests walked away with amazing prizes, including one-night stays at China Hotel, Guangzhou and the Langham Shenzhen respectively.

Two nights of catching up with all the folks from our amazing Chambers in Guangdong made for a great gathering during these uncertain and challenging times. Guests joining the two events hailed from a wide variety of industries, including education, business consultancy, legal services, wealth management, accounting, finance, hospitality and others. All in all a fun and lively event and a great chance to catch up with old faces and make new friends.
