Job Descriptions
The Manager of Facilities is responsible to the Director of Administration for the day-to-day operation of the Facilities and Campus functions of the School. This is a pivotal senior role in the School.
Responsibilities
Facilities & Grounds
Work with the Director of Administration, contributing to the development of plans for the school campus, providing expert opinion regarding services and condition of the existing campus
Contribute ideas and advice regarding potential future planned maintenance and development, consistent with strategic plans
Develop and manage annual campus budgets, ensuring the campus function is financially compliant and delivers its services within agreed financial limits
Commission and utilise periodic surveys to prepare a forward-looking planned maintenance schedule for buildings, M&E services, plant and equipment
Regularly review all maintenance contracts

Science Technicians provide all the support needed to allow practical work and experiments to take place in science lessons.
Responsibilities
Ensuring the school is compliant with government chemical safety regulations.
Purchasing consumables, chemicals, and apparatus
Assembling new apparatus; maintaining and repairing apparatus and glassware, or organising external maintenance or repair
