Content Marketing vs. Performance MarketingMarketing Seminar: Content Marketing vs. Performance Marketing On 26th July, British Chamber of Commerce Guangdong successfully held a marketing seminar: Content Marketing vs. Performance Marketing at British Center, Guangzhou and welcomed over 30 senior marketers. We were honoured to have Emily Yao, Content Manager of Westwin, to introduce the reasons to use content marketing. She brought with us the challenges facing content marketing, the values of using this marketing strategy and provided us the solutions and methodologies to successfully implement content marketing strategy in Chinese market. In the second section of the seminar, Lu Jin, Senior Sales Manager at Westwin, discussed why performance marketing is needed. During her speech, she helped us to walk through the status quo of performance marketing in Chinese market. She also provided us the key steps to realize performance marketing. The speeches were followed by a Q&A. The audience asked lots of probing questions towards the speakers from perspectives their struggles in implementing performance marketing and how to improve engagements in a Wechat group chat. The view sharing continued long after the event finished. The night was a huge success and it was great to see so many of our marketers enjoying and making new friends, and the conversations and networking continued long after the event finished! |
