The British Chamber of Commerce shall be hosting a small symposium that will aim to help our members and the community understand more of the Greater Bay Area will mean to them. The agenda of the GBA symposium is to allow for attendees understand the history of the GBA agenda, what is the current state in terms of policies, and also its prospective impacts.

Carlby Xie Head of Research, Southern China Savills Mr. Carlby Xie has been working in the real estate industry, focusing on the research and consultancy sector in the Greater China region for more than 18 years. His specialties are database construction and financial modelling, market research reports, due diligence, investment and development advisory (office, retail, business parks, leisure and serviced apartment), feasibility studies, IPO’s and corporate real estate strategies. At present, Mr. Xie heads the Research team at Savills, which is a real estate consultancy firm headquartered in London, and is a member of the RICS and a Visiting Professor of Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University.
