Background In order to support the implementation of the new personal income tax laws, the State Council, the Ministry of Finance and the State Administration of Taxation have circulated a series of important regulations on the application of the personal income tax laws. All the documents have been formally implemented from January 1, 2019. The British Chamber of Commerce Guangdong and the China-Britain Business Council will hold a new round of tax reform seminars in Guangzhou and Shenzhen on January 17 and 24, 2019, jointly with experts from KPMG's global human resources team. They will bring professional insights regarding the latest personal tax regulations and potential impact to everyone involved by these reforms.
