Aug 31: UK Visa BriefingOverview Recently, UK Home Office has released a visa policy revision document, which has updated a number of the immigration rules that will impact on different visa categories. To get the latest information on the new updates and changes, the British Chamber of Commerce invites Andy Weng, South China and Hong Kong Manager from UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) to update us on the new policy changes. For anyone who is planning on visiting or studying in the UK, then you should come along to make sure you know exactly what you need when making your visa application! ■ Andy Weng, UKVI’s South China and Hong Kong Manager Andy joined UKVI, British Embassy Beijing in 2013. He has taken up a business development role in the Business and Growth team of UKVI. In January 2017, Andy was posted to the British Consulate-General Guangzhou as UKVI’s contact person for South China and Hong Kong area. Before joining UKVI, Andy worked for a marketing consultancy - AC Nielsen’s Beijing Office. And prior to that, Andy worked as an Energy Analyst in Mighty River Power in New Zealand.
