Main Duties and Responsibilities:


1.      Manage online social media platform

2.      Manage public events and activities.

3.      Liaise with University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) academics and colleagues.

4.      Liaise with existing and potential partners both in the U.K and China.

5.      Manage projects from the U.K and China within certain sectors.

6.      Be responsible for project market research, positioning, negotiation and business development.

7.      Support UCLan colleague delegation visits

 

Requirements:


1.      Excellent command of oral and written English and Chinese skills.

2.      Bachelor’s Degree or above.

3.      Minimum of 3 years working experience.

4.      Experiences of managing projects and marketing research.

5.      Evidence of organising, updating and maintaining events, publications and relationships.

6.      Ability to effectively develop partnerships and explore opportunities and communicate those opportunities to other colleagues.

7.      Demonstrable evidence of collaborative cross-functional team working and being adaptable to changing circumstances.

8.      Self-motivated with ability to prioritize work, carry out multi-tasks and to meet deadlines.

9.      Able to travel at home and abroad.

10.  Commitment to the mission and aims of the University.

UCLan Technology (Shenzhen) Ltd is a wholly owned overseas subsidiary of University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) in Preston, UK. It aims to help UCLan’s academics to establish research and commercial partnerships to promote collaborative research, IP licensing, commercialise UCLan’s technology outcomes and expertise. It also provides faculties support in terms of student exchange programmes, internship opportunities, continued professional development courses and etc. Externally, it also supports other UK businesses’ development in China.
